Spero Recovery Center is a men’s residential rehab in Colorado founded in 2019. Many elements of our recovery program sets us apart from other addiction treatment centers but what we’re most proud of is our non-profit organization status.
Being a non-profit rehab center for men allows us to provide high-quality treatment for substance abuse at a low cost. Our mission is to give hope to an underserved community who are often unable to access quality treatment. This includes those who are uninsured, underinsured, or unable to pay for treatment. The Spero Foundation is a fund to provide financial assistance to those who need it but cannot otherwise afford addiction treatment.
A non-profit rehab center is an organization that operates for the public benefit and does not distribute its profits to owners or shareholders but instead reinvests its earnings back into the facility to enhance services or provide assistance to the community. Non-profit rehab centers focus on serving their mission, which often includes providing accessible and affordable treatment options to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Non-profit rehab centers are often committed to providing treatment options to underserved and vulnerable populations. They may offer sliding scale fees or reduced costs based on an individual’s ability to pay, making treatment accessible to those with limited financial resources. In our case, we use our Spero Recovery Foundation to help partially fund treatment for those in need.
Non-profit rehab centers aim to provide comprehensive care, including medical detoxification, therapy, counseling, behavioral therapies, and aftercare support. They focus on evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach to ensure individuals receive the best possible care for their substance use disorders.
Non-profit rehab centers are driven by a mission to help individuals in need and contribute positively to the community. They often engage in community outreach, education, and prevention programs to raise awareness about substance abuse and offer support to those affected.
Non-profit rehab centers typically treat a wide range of substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and other drugs. Their goal is to address the specific needs of individuals, regardless of the substance they are addicted to.
Non-profit rehab centers often receive funding from government grants, donations, and charitable organizations, allowing them to offer services at a reduced cost or even for free. This financial support enables them to provide treatment to individuals who might otherwise be unable to afford it.
Non-profit rehab centers often adopt a holistic approach to treatment, addressing not only the physical aspects of addiction but also the mental, emotional, and social factors that contribute to substance abuse. They provide supportive environments that promote healing and recovery.
Community Funding
The funding for our Foundation comes from donations from family, friends, alumni of Spero Recovery, and occasionally philanthropic organizations that provide for people in need. While our team does what we can to keep costs low, these donations help us continue to provide high-quality treatment in a modern facility.
We believe that money should not be in the way of getting much-needed addiction treatment and greatly appreciate the generosity of those who have donated to support our mission. The Foundation has specific scholarships for Veterans who need substance abuse treatment, a general scholarship for anyone who may have financial need, and a scholarship to support Spero Recovery’s operations.
How The Foundation Can Help You
The Spero Recovery Foundation offers scholarships to any resident who is in need of financial assistance. We ask that you pay what you can but our admissions team is happy to discuss payment options and do what they can to make treatment at our Colorado rehab a possibility for you.
Our criteria are need-based only. Through our Foundation and with the help of our community, we’ve been able to provide affordable addiction treatment to many. If you are seeking treatment for a substance use disorder, but worry that you may not be able to afford rehab, call our team to discuss your options! Spero means hope in Latin and that’s exactly what we hope to give and inspire in others.
Substance Abuse Treatment at Spero Recovery Center
At Spero Recovery Center, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and transformative substance abuse treatment for men, guiding them toward a path of lasting recovery. Our specialized residential program immerses residents in a supportive environment designed around the principles of the 12-step program, encouraging individuals to work through the steps to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery.
Our approach at Spero Recovery Center is rooted in understanding the unique challenges associated with various substances. We offer specialized treatment for a range of substances, including alcohol, opioids, prescription drugs, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. Each substance requires a tailored approach, recognizing the specific physical and psychological effects they induce. Our experienced and compassionate staff members are trained to address the nuances of each addiction, ensuring that our residents receive targeted and effective support.
Central to our program is the 12-step model, which serves as a guiding framework for our residents. Through working the steps, individuals engage in a profound self-exploration process, addressing underlying issues and developing coping mechanisms crucial for recovery. This structured approach not only fosters personal growth but also establishes a strong foundation for a substance-free life.
In addition to our 12-step immersion, we offer wilderness therapy as an integral part of our treatment methodology. Nature has proven therapeutic benefits, promoting mindfulness, self-reflection, and a sense of connection with the natural world. Our wilderness therapy sessions provide residents with opportunities for introspection, allowing them to explore their thoughts and emotions in the serene and calming backdrop of nature.
At Spero Recovery Center, we believe in holistic healing, addressing not only the addiction itself but also the underlying factors contributing to substance abuse. Our dedicated team provides individualized care, helping residents rebuild their lives, mend relationships, and rediscover their sense of purpose. Through our comprehensive and personalized approach, we empower men to embrace recovery, cultivating the skills and resilience necessary for a fulfilling and substance-free future.
Spero Recovery Center Supports Your Long-Term Recovery
Our residents’ sobriety and healing from addiction is our top priority at Spero Recovery Center. To ensure long-term recovery we provide aftercare planning, which greatly increases an individual’s chance of a successful recovery from drug or alcohol abuse. Aftercare planning may involve a relapse prevention plan, the continuation of treatment in outpatient care, support group meetings, or all of the above.
We also support our residents’ recovery through an alumni program, which includes support group meetings, workshops, and community events. Those who complete our residential treatment program have the option to continue their recovery in our sober living homes in Colorado. Sober living homes offer independence and help individuals transition out of residential or outpatient treatment while still receiving professional support. In a sober living home, men can live with others who have completed our 12-step program. Living among others in recovery can help stay motivated and work toward maintaining sobriety.
